BACKGROUND
Ironset was founded and is run by Logan Somner — a software engineer with a decade of experience building enterprise systems for federal government, healthcare, and financial services clients — work he took to survive, and in an attempt to build his way out of poverty, not because he ever believed bigger meant better. These days, he's only willing to build things he actually stands behind.
That level of engineering — document processing pipelines for Iron Mountain, billing systems for healthcare companies, mortgage processing for lenders — is a skill he still carries with him. He just won't spend it on projects he doesn't believe in anymore — he can't anymore. He'd rather put that same focus toward something he can actually be proud of than toward the number in his bank account. That skill set, along with others, is something he wants to share with the right people.
